LOVE THE MOMENT
Project Essence
“When people feel lonely, they start to assign meaning to everything around them. When the phrase ‘love the moment’ truly resonates, it makes the moment even harder. With the mindset of doing what I can, wherever I am.”
— Gaeun Kim
“Love the Moment” is an immersive interdisciplinary performance exploring loneliness, awareness and the act of letting go through music, dance and visual art. The project invites the audience into a sensory journey — not merely as spectators, but as quiet companions moving through an inner landscape of sound, movement and space.
At the heart of the work lies the paradox of its title itself: to love the moment — even when it feels painful, empty or still. What happens when we stop escaping emptiness and instead allow ourselves to encounter it? Could a new form of beauty — or even peace — emerge from that experience?
The project is conceived as a hybrid format between concert and performative installation. Live music, dance and visual compositions intertwine to create an open and fluid dramaturgy in which the audience is invited to slow down, observe and remain present within the moment.
In a time shaped by constant distraction and overstimulation, “Love the Moment” offers a quiet counterpoint: a space for stillness, perception and reflection. Rather than explaining or instructing, the project seeks to create an experience — an invitation to remain with the present moment, even in uncertainty, even in imperfection.
It is neither a traditional theatre piece nor a linear narrative, but a living meditation on what it means to be human: the longing for connection, the ability to sit with emptiness, and the courage to love the moment nonetheless.
